in International Falls. Here are some details to get you started.

Lecture Series Presentation – Lake Sturgeon Research and Management in the
Namakan System

Lodging:
www.rainylake.org – This is the local Convention and Visitors Bureau
website. There is a 10% off coupon for some of the lodging establishments
on the main page of the website. If you stay in town, the Friday meeting
location is approximately 10 miles east of town along scenic Highway 11.
There is one resort open near the Rainy Lake Visitor Center (Thunderbird
Lodge).

If you are a runner the Freeze Yer Gizzard Blizzard run is on Saturday,
January 17.

The park has snowshoes free to borrow or skis to rent for $5/day. Kathleen
is willing to lead a 1-hour snowshoe hike after the January 16 meeting.
